Isolation means moving each segment of your body, separately from other segment. The isolation will help express the immobility or the mimetic imitation.

This is easy exercise. Lean your head left to right, front to back.

Neck isolation (sliding) left to right. Move slowly. Be care not to twist or lean your head.

Of course, you can move your head back to front. Move slowly. Be care not to twist or lean your head.
Perhaps, this is easier than sliding the neck left to right.


You can move almost every body segment independently.
Below is the example of chest isolation chest isolation

Chest isolation (sliding) left to right. Move slowly. Be care not to twist or lean your body.


Each exercise should be performed without needless tension of your muscle. In mime exercise, it is essential to relax your body ( = move economically).
